From a young age, I’ve always had a passion for community sports.

Which is why I’m proud to announce that under a re-elected Cook Labor Government, I will deliver $75,000 for an electronic scoreboard at Stan Twight Reserve.

This funding will deliver the scoreboard and its installation, to be used by the Safety Bay Stingers FC and Shoalwater Bay Cricket Club.

I’ve seen first-hand the hard work that’s put in by volunteers running a manual scoreboard, so I’m sure this commitment will go a long way to improve the quality of games for both players and spectators.

Our local clubs are the backbone of our thriving community, and as the local member I will always support them and their volunteers.
